IBM Failed to Acquisitioning Sun Microsystems
BOSTON - Despite report planned acquisition of Sun Microsystems by IBM Corp. with the future realized this at the weekend, but also appeared to fail.

The cancellation of this plan turns out, due to the classic problem, namely the bid submitted by IBM is too small for a company of Sun. Mentioned in the negotiations that were submitted last week, IBM is not ready to pay funds USD7 billion.
In fact, the negotiations that had a lot that will enter the final stage. There, the source of the nearest IBM said that the results be declared invalid on the announcement this weekend. But suddenly, Sun cancel this, and says, they do not want to conduct a transaction referred exclusively with IBM only.
As reported by Associated Press on Monday (6/4/2009), if there is a newspaper that says that IBM is willing to pay the price of Sun stock USD10 to USD11 hope that is not appropriate. Because of the discussion, only IBM is able to offer Sun shares no more than USD9.50.
Discussion has happened for three days this also appears to be quite useless. Moreover, if, IBM still does not want to raise the bid to purchase the shares that have been Sun dipatok is USD11.
